About Us

Hi! I'm Melissa Moore, the owner and sole artist of Moore Bliss Macramé. I was born and raised on the beautiful west coast and have settled down in Portland, OR with my husband, our grandma dog, and our newest member of the family a sweet little cat. Growing up I always loved hands on crafts and spent countless summers creating every kind of friendship bracelet imaginable. As an adult, my best friend invited me to a DIY plant hanger class taught by a local artist at one of our favorite plant shops. Turns out macramé was just like making my childhood bracelets but on a larger scale. After one class I was hooked.

Shortly after taking the class the pandemic hit and I was able to immerse myself into the world of macramé and I haven't looked back since. I find myself constantly inspired and looking for the next project I can try to create. I started learning and creating in 2020 and I believe I have finally found something I am truly passionate about.
